Jagner Fort and Gwal Baba Temple: Unveiling History and Heritage
Jagner, a town 50 km southwest of Agra, boasts a 1572 C.E. fort made of local red sandstone. Noteworthy features include the well-preserved Diwan-i-Am complex and the Gwal Baba Temple located beyond the fort. Nearby, a tank excavated during Akbar’s reign has silted up.
